Nairs in movimaint — PANCH residency and collaborative performances

In November 2017 in Nairs I am caught up by the present and the past: in 1989 the duo work with Hildegard Kleeb (prepaired piano) in the music room – Nairs at that time coincidently all fresh as a residency place for artists and old in its walls, stone, sediments, water and history making it a charged and vibrating place – and 1997 with Jeremias Schwarzer (recorder, performance) in the basement of the former spa building.
When viewing the place anew in 2017 I am struck by the strong and clear archetonical features of in the structural disposition of the building, also the processes of a bygone health spa business is resonating. The performance «Nairs Glieder» ‚logs into’ the collaboration with Leo Bachmann (tuba) – we have collaborated in past times in other places — and with Lara Stanic (electronics).
Further collaborative works inside and outdoors: In «Funtana» Angela Hausheer, Beat Unternährer, Leo Bachmann and I are letting resonate in Raetoromanic the prime mineral wells, singing and calling their names against the sounds of the river Inn. In the performance «Bär + Mineral Animation» with Leo Bachmann the bears, since 2005 straying in this area, are coming across the health spa business of the early days of tourisme.
