the performance «Mir geht's gut 1» is part of a series of performances.

«Mir geht's gut 1» is the first performance in this series, although I could not yet foresee that two more versions would follow. All three are based on a similar scenario, each adapted to the specific local circumstances and their framings: This first version at a performance art festival in a large (former) turbine hall in Giswil OW, two more versions at a performance festival in Zurich on the Limmat and finally at a performance competition in an art gallery.

performance process

A performance with movement, voice and interaction with the audience - a sequence of episodes of movement and action with material and people whose weight and gravity I allow to guide and lead me. I wear mountaineering boots on my feet, I hold branches, ladders and spectators with my arms, fur gloves in my trouser pockets at the ready like a cowboy with his revolver. They lead me into movement and produce figures which I sound, and which in turn make the space sway and vibrate. Everything has its weight. At the same time, I seduce and entice things and people. The aim would be to move all the spectators present in the room like chess pieces. That is beyond my strength and has explosive power. I, fellow human being, cowboy, opera diva, yodeller, wailing woman, become a howling animal with the support of the resonating space 'Turbinenhalle' ...
