In the second ‘Dialogical Format’, the collective ‘dance me to the end’, together with the artist Dorothea Rust, invites you to discover new somatic and relationship-oriented ways of communicating. In the KOMPOST & KOLLEKTIV programme, we explore the intersections of art, ecology and social change. Dorothea Rust opens up the ground as a living space of knowledge – complex, surprising and never fully comprehensible. Through images, videos and audio clips from her work-project 'un-sichtbare choreografien', we delve into the hidden world of springtails and nematodes. Listening, moving and drawing create a space of resonance in which – sustained by curiosity, care and responsibility – an ‘ecology of being’ becomes palpable.

The dance me to the end collective is Switzerland’s first professional ensemble for people aged 60 and over, and is carrying out important pioneering work in the field of contemporary dance. It challenges prevailing concepts of the body and dance, and is committed to empowering older people in dance and society. The members continually develop what they share and what unites them, whilst at the same time strengthening the uniqueness of their individual artistic personalities.

Taking a multi-faceted, multi-layered and process-oriented approach, we are constantly exploring and developing our themes: the collective as a system and way of working, and the body as an archive with its fragility, wisdom, freedom to be foolish and transience. Together, we take responsibility for a productive working process that generates new ideas through practical exploration, discussion and reflection.
