The «Verein Landart (Landart Association)» at Schlosspark Wädenswil

The impetus for the founding of the «Landart Association» at Schlosspark Wädenswil came from the arboretum below the castle wall. The overgrown collection of trees was to be awakened from its slumber and become visible again as what it once was: a park where encounters with art and nature are possible. In August 2008, the «Landart Association» was founded as a joint initiative of Agroscope, the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and the City of Wädenswil. Since then, it has served as the sponsor of the art projects that take place in the Schlosspark year after year. In this sense, it is a cooperative project of the three institutions involved, which want to anchor the Schlosspark in the consciousness of the population as a place of cultural encounter.
