Zaz Festival is an annual event of «Performance Art Platform», which hosts performance artists from around the world. The artists perform in different locations, with different geographical and environmental characteristics, and in front of varied audiences and communities.

This is a dynamic and experimental laboratory of live art that moves between different physical and human spaces and between various forms of action, including multiple sites; actions on the streets and in public buildings that, lectures and workshops.

Das ganze Team des Festivals mit der Direktorin, Tamar Raban, und die meisten israelischen und aus dem Ausland angereisten Künstler sind anwesend. Monica und ich sind sozusagen direkt vom Flughafen zum Buffet gekommen. Dieses ist hausgemacht: Humus, Salate, Teigtaschen und Suppe, welche nach palästinensischem Rezept gekoch sein soll.

Führung durch die Central Bus Station,Tel Aviv, tagsüber

Damit alle Künstler Orte für die Performances und Aktionen auswählen und Recherchen vor Ort machen können.
Ich mache mich über die Busstation im Internet kundig: Die New Central Bus Station, Ha Tachana, Ha Merkazit, HaChadasha, eröffnet 1993 als eine der grössten Busstationen mit 7 Etagen, eingeweiht vom Premierminister und vom Bürgermeister von Tel Aviv. Es gibt 29 Rolltreppen, 13 Fahrstühle, über 1000 Shops und Restaurant. Nur drei der sieben Etagen werden als Busstation benützt. Die Station hat ein komplettes System von Brücken und Zufahrtsstrassen, damit die Busses die Ebenen erreichen können. Die Veranstalter beschreiben die Central Bus Station wie folgt: „The New central bus station is a site located in south Tel Aviv. Beside this area is down town and contains a high percentage of foreign immigrants, it also contains the most important alternative scene. The Central bus station is center for people all over the country, passing through besides local people from this area, most of them from the Philippines. This creates a wide variety of mixed cultural environment.“
