Performance Reihe Neu-Oerlikon 2010-2019 – a decade of performance art in public space

In 2019 the PERFORMANCE REIHE NEU-OERLIKON celebrated its tenth anniversary as one of the longer-lasting festivals for performance art in public space, and not only in the City of Zurich. This book-project is a survey of the works of more than 150 performance artists from Europe, Mexico and the USA presented over the last 10 years in the festival Performance Reihe Neu-Oerlikon (Zurich). It conducts a revue of the last ten years through publishing selected images, exchanges/interviews, and texts from the extensive documentation, but through the selection highlight artistic concerns and address key issues in the discourse of art in public space.
